LET Access events & Qualifying US Open

Hello everyone!
After a good start to the year, it's been pretty steady since! I played my First LET Access event in March in France but unfortunately missed the cut, after that I then played in Spain in the 2nd event and narrowly missed the cut by 1 measly shot! Which was hard to take! I then came home for 1 day before I flew off to switzerland for the next event! Which at that point I think my constant sitting down in airports and planes for hours in a short space of time caught up with me! I played the first round in Switzerland, but in a lot of pain! My back just went, it started on the front 9 but wanted to finish my round, which I did, but unfortunately I could not finish the tournament! I have learnt that I need to keep stretching even though I'm waiting in airports, so this will not happen again!

I have also started working with Danny Adams on my swing and mental side and he is making a huge difference to my swing and game, here's to a long and prosperous partnership! He's a great coach and if you want to improve your game 10 fold he's the guy! Check his website out! www.dannyadamsgolf.com.

Finally the US Open qualifier at the Buckingamshire on the 25th May was a great experience for me! There were 5 spots available out of 75 players! Unfortunately this year wasn't my time, bit was 8 shots better than last year so there is a positve, plus my 42 putts didn't help my 2nd round, when my normal average is 30 putts! I guess it was just one of those afternoons! Once again always learning! Big thanks to my caddy Neil for coming down from Scotland to caddy too!

Anyway next stop for me is the 2nd and 3rd June in Scotland for my next Tartan Tour event! I am looking forward to it as I won the last one and at the moment I am 2nd in the order of merit so I'd like to top that if possible!

I will be In touch with the next update very soon!

Keep smiling ! X

Great start to 2015 season

Hi everyone!
My posts last year might have been a bit sort and sweet as I can say that last year unfortunately was not my best! After having a few injuries and a bit of bad luck I was having doubts about continuing with my dream of being a tour player and not just a teaching professional, BUT! I had a great start to this season after playing 2 of my first events in Scoland. My first being in Aberdeen in the Ladies Tatan Tour event and had a reasonable finish, finishing 9th with the weather on the breezy side I was pretty happy with that finish!
A couple of days later the tartan tour headed south down to montrose golf club, the first day was unfortunately cancelled due to fog, but the next day the weather was completely different, sunshine and a little wind, perfect for a game of golf! It's was not just the weather that made it a great day, the fact that I won made it even sweeter! After starting the round with a bogey I managed to steady out and pick up a couple of birdies and 1 more bogey to finish with a steady level par round, I still felt a little disappointed as I felt I left some shots out on the course but was pleased to get in a steady round.
It felt great to win the event and hadn't won a professional event since 2013, so it gave me that confidence boost I needed. Another positive was that I was competing in a field of several LET Tour players, including Beth Allen, Becky Bremerton and several others! For me it just reinforced the belief I always had, that I CAN compete against top players!
Let's hope the season keeps going in the right direction, and I will keep you updated throughout this exciting season!

On wards and upwards !!!

Sorry it's been so long!

Hey everybody,
I hope you are all well, sorry it's been so long since I posted on here but I must get into the habit of doing it and I promise I will! Well what I can say is that it's been a interesting year so far.
With this year being my first proper season on the LET Access Tour I can say that I have learnt a great deal. The first few events of the season unfortunately the strongest part of my game let me down causing me to miss the first few cuts. After changing a couple of things I can now safely say that part of my game is now back on track. I made the cut in Prague and recently made the cut in Turkey.
I have two events left which are in Crete and also in the UK and am hoping my form continues in these two events.
I will keep my blog updated and will write here after the Crete event.
After talking to people and them saying the first year is all about finding your feet and gaining experience and knowledge, I can safely say that I would agree and with time this makes me stronger and more determined.
I would like to thank my sponsors who have supported me so far which are -

Tradesmith Ltd , Prime Metals Ltd and John Regis.

End of year review :-)

Hello everyone, sorry it's been a while since I've updated my blog but just going to review the year.
2013 has been a great year for me, I won the sussex professional championships, I played in 6 of the let access events this year and made my first cut and finished 18th in the Costa Blanca ladies open.
I also changed my coach back in November and has made a great difference to my game, so I would like to thank ally Mellor for what he's done so far. I would also like to thank my sponsor trade smith for their support this year and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't of had such a great year.

Finally unfortunately I didn't make it through tour school this year, but I did learn a lot about my game which with some hard work and the correct improvements makes me excited for next season. Hopefully 2014 will be my year and am looking forward to pushing on, after have a club fitting session with precision golf I also can't wait to get my new sticks and get practicing for next season.

I hope everyone has a lovely Xmas and a great new year. I will be in touch soon.

Sussex champion

Well hello everyone! I have had a busy couple of months, I broke the course record in the Willingdon pro am in august with a 65 -8! I then followed that a week later with winning the sussex professional championships at west hove golf club :-)

I also have played in a few south region pro ams over the last couple of weeks, finishing 4th in the Cottesmore pro am , but unfortunately had a bad day at the ashford pro am.

I also played in the let access event at Stoke by nayland, and unfortunately under performed there also! But after some hard work on the range and my mental side I am now looking forward to playing in the let access event in crete on the 24th - 26th of October !

I will update you when I get back.

Speak soon

Update time "sorry it's been a while"

Sorry it has been so long to post something, but I do have so much to tell you! I played the Willingdon pro am and shot a nice round of 65, -4 on the men's card and -8 on the ladies card, my -8 also made the new ladies course record and beat the old record by 4 shots :-)! But came 2nd overall in the event!

Finally I am the NEW Sussex professional champion! I played in the SPGU championships on the 14th&15th August at west hove golf club. I shot a 72 in my first round which left me in tied 3rd spot and 5 shots behind the leader! Day 2 I shot a 71 and that was the best score of the 2nd round which put me in a playoff against the over night leader! I then won on the 1st playoff hole!!! So finally I am the first female to win the championship and it has been going for 101 years!

Ok I have updated the blog and I promise not too leave it so long next time with hopefully more great news :-)
