LET Access events & Qualifying US Open

Hello everyone!
After a good start to the year, it's been pretty steady since! I played my First LET Access event in March in France but unfortunately missed the cut, after that I then played in Spain in the 2nd event and narrowly missed the cut by 1 measly shot! Which was hard to take! I then came home for 1 day before I flew off to switzerland for the next event! Which at that point I think my constant sitting down in airports and planes for hours in a short space of time caught up with me! I played the first round in Switzerland, but in a lot of pain! My back just went, it started on the front 9 but wanted to finish my round, which I did, but unfortunately I could not finish the tournament! I have learnt that I need to keep stretching even though I'm waiting in airports, so this will not happen again!

I have also started working with Danny Adams on my swing and mental side and he is making a huge difference to my swing and game, here's to a long and prosperous partnership! He's a great coach and if you want to improve your game 10 fold he's the guy! Check his website out! www.dannyadamsgolf.com.

Finally the US Open qualifier at the Buckingamshire on the 25th May was a great experience for me! There were 5 spots available out of 75 players! Unfortunately this year wasn't my time, bit was 8 shots better than last year so there is a positve, plus my 42 putts didn't help my 2nd round, when my normal average is 30 putts! I guess it was just one of those afternoons! Once again always learning! Big thanks to my caddy Neil for coming down from Scotland to caddy too!

Anyway next stop for me is the 2nd and 3rd June in Scotland for my next Tartan Tour event! I am looking forward to it as I won the last one and at the moment I am 2nd in the order of merit so I'd like to top that if possible!

I will be In touch with the next update very soon!

Keep smiling ! X

Great start to 2015 season

Hi everyone!
My posts last year might have been a bit sort and sweet as I can say that last year unfortunately was not my best! After having a few injuries and a bit of bad luck I was having doubts about continuing with my dream of being a tour player and not just a teaching professional, BUT! I had a great start to this season after playing 2 of my first events in Scoland. My first being in Aberdeen in the Ladies Tatan Tour event and had a reasonable finish, finishing 9th with the weather on the breezy side I was pretty happy with that finish!
A couple of days later the tartan tour headed south down to montrose golf club, the first day was unfortunately cancelled due to fog, but the next day the weather was completely different, sunshine and a little wind, perfect for a game of golf! It's was not just the weather that made it a great day, the fact that I won made it even sweeter! After starting the round with a bogey I managed to steady out and pick up a couple of birdies and 1 more bogey to finish with a steady level par round, I still felt a little disappointed as I felt I left some shots out on the course but was pleased to get in a steady round.
It felt great to win the event and hadn't won a professional event since 2013, so it gave me that confidence boost I needed. Another positive was that I was competing in a field of several LET Tour players, including Beth Allen, Becky Bremerton and several others! For me it just reinforced the belief I always had, that I CAN compete against top players!
Let's hope the season keeps going in the right direction, and I will keep you updated throughout this exciting season!

On wards and upwards !!!
